Why offer a class exclusively for men? There are a few key reasons. While many of our classes are predominantly women-focused, allowing women to easily access women-only sessions, we also wanted to create a space where men could comfortably explore something new. Another consideration is that men often experience tightness in similar areas—such as the hamstrings and lower back—areas that can benefit significantly from targeted exercises.
In recent years, it’s become increasingly evident that many men, who have spent much of their lives physically active, are now facing the cumulative effects of their past exertions. Over time, this can manifest as an increased susceptibility to injuries, diminished flexibility, chronic joint and muscle pain—especially in the lower back and neck—low energy, and poor posture.
